Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the game “DOORANI INC.” and its website (together, the “Service”) provided by Doorani (the “Operator”), and the rights and obligations of the Operator and players. “DOORANI INC.” is the title of the game and the name of a fictional company in it; it is not the Operator's business name.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • Player: a person who has agreed to these Terms and uses the Service.
  • Account: the unit of use created when a player signs in with a Google or Apple account. Progress and currencies are stored on the account.
  • Free currencies: parts, dooranium, fuel, materials, specimens and the like, earned by playing. They have no cash value.
  • Coins: the paid currency bought through store payments and spent in the in-game coin shop.
  • Capsule: a reward that opens during an expedition from assembling parts or from a treasure chest, giving gear and effects for that run only.
  • Sample case: a reward picked up on an expedition and opened at the outpost after returning, giving dooranium, specimens and the like.
  • Room: called the “Outpost”; a space where other players come in and hang out together through voice chat and text chat.
  • Store: a platform that distributes the game and processes payments, such as the App Store, Mac App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store or Steam.

Article 3 (Posting and changes)

  1. The Operator posts these Terms on the website and makes them viewable on the in-game consent screen. Each version is identified by its effective date.
  2. The Operator may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes and their effective date are announced on the website and in the game at least 7 days in advance, or at least 30 days in advance for changes that are unfavourable to players or otherwise important.
  3. For important changes, the Operator asks for consent again in the game. A player who does not agree may end the agreement by deleting their account.

Article 4 (Agreement and sign-up)

  1. The agreement is formed when a player separately agrees to these Terms and to the collection and use of personal information, signs in with a Google or Apple account, and completes the nickname screen (player name, date of birth). There is no guest mode.
  2. The service is available only to people aged 14 or older. A player under 14 cannot sign up (Privacy Policy, Article 4).
  3. The Operator may refuse a sign-up, or later end the agreement, if a player entered a false date of birth or other false details, created a new account to get around a restriction, or otherwise broke the law or these Terms.

Article 5 (Accounts)

  1. Players are responsible for the Google or Apple account they sign in with. Unless the Operator is at fault, the Operator is not responsible for losses caused by that account falling into someone else's hands.
  2. Players can link the other of Google or Apple in Settings and then sign in with either. Two separate accounts cannot be merged, and unlinking is only possible through support.
  3. An account can be online on one device at a time. Signing in with the same account on another device disconnects the first one.
  4. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, lent or transferred.
  5. A player who loses their sign-in method can request recovery through [Support] on the sign-in screen. The Operator restores access only when it can confirm the player's identity.

Article 6 (Providing and changing the service)

  1. The Service is an online game that can only be used while connected to the internet. Prices and conditions of sale are shown on each store page and in the in-game shop.
  2. The Operator may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance, equipment replacement or failure, network outages and the like, announcing it in the game in advance where possible.
  3. The Operator may change content, balance values and features to keep the game fun and running. Changes that make a paid item worse for players follow the procedure in Article 3.
  4. If the whole Service is to end, the Operator will announce it at least 30 days in advance and handle unused coins according to applicable law and store policies.

Article 7 (Game currencies and random rewards)

  1. Free currencies are earned only by playing and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or other currencies, or moved out of the account.
  2. What you gather on an expedition is only secured when you return alive. If your system goes down during an expedition, you lose what you gathered in that run under the game rules; this is not a defect in the Service.
  3. Capsules and sample cases are obtained only by playing. Coins cannot be used to buy or open capsules, sample cases or parts, or to change their results or odds. Capsules and sample cases never contain decorative items sold in the coin shop.

Article 8 (Coins — paid currency)

Coin purchases are not open yet. This Article and Article 9 apply once coin sales begin.

  1. Coins can only be bought through the in-app purchase system of the store you use. Payments are processed by that store, and its terms also apply to payment methods and procedures.
  2. Every item in the coin shop has fixed contents. Nothing is sold whose result is decided by chance.
  3. Coins do not expire. They cannot be exchanged for cash, sent to other players or moved to another account.
  4. Coins granted by the Operator as compensation or to correct errors are handled separately from purchased coins and cannot be withdrawn.
  5. If a store cancels or refunds a payment, the coins from that payment are taken back. If they have already been spent, the coin balance may go below zero, and repeated refund abuse may lead to restrictions under Article 13.

Article 9 (Withdrawal and refunds)

  1. Players may withdraw the purchase of unused coins within 7 days of purchase. Coins already used, and items bought with coins whose supply has begun, cannot be withdrawn under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce; the Operator shows this on the purchase screen in advance.
  2. If an item differs from how it was described or advertised, or was not supplied as agreed, the purchase can be withdrawn within 3 months of supply or within 30 days of finding out.
  3. Because payments are made through the stores, refunds are in principle requested through the refund process of the store you paid through. If the store process doesn't resolve it, contact us through in-game support and we will help as far as needed to confirm the facts.
  4. If a minor makes a payment without a legal guardian's consent, the minor or the guardian may cancel it. This may not apply where the minor claimed to be an adult or the payment was within limits the guardian allowed.
  5. Payment history and receipts are available in the purchase history of the store you paid through.

Article 10 (Gifts)

  1. Players can send certain items to other players with the in-game gift feature. A gift is given one way, with nothing in return, and cannot be taken back.
  2. Giving or receiving money or other benefits in exchange for gifts, and buying or selling accounts, currencies or items outside the game, are prohibited.
  3. Coins themselves cannot be gifted, and gifts are subject to the limits shown in the game, such as a daily number.

Article 11 (Your obligations and prohibited conduct)

Players must follow the law, these Terms and in-game guidance, and must not:

  • insult, harass, threaten, or use discriminatory, hateful or sexual language or requests toward other players;
  • share or ask for personal information (contact details, address, school, social media accounts and the like) or push for meetings outside the game;
  • record or film other players' voices or conversations without consent and spread them;
  • impersonate the Operator or its team, or use inappropriate player names, outpost names or tags;
  • disrupt conversation by repeating messages, advertising or spamming;
  • modify the game program, manipulate results with unauthorized programs or devices, or send abnormal requests to the server;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the game program except where the law permits it;
  • exploit bugs or errors without reporting them;
  • trade accounts, currencies or items for cash or anything else of value;
  • come back on another account or device to get around a restriction;
  • infringe the intellectual property or other rights of the Operator or third parties.

Article 12 (Voice chat, chat and player protection)

  1. Voice chat and room connections run in real time through Epic Games' Epic Online Services. Voice information may be collected and used to deal with abusive players.
  2. Room chat is filtered for banned words before delivery and kept in operational records to check reports and handle disputes.
  3. Players can mute, block and report other players. Hosts can lock their room or make it private, send guests out, and force-mute them.

Article 13 (Restrictions)

  1. If a player breaks Article 11 or disrupts the Service, the Operator may, depending on severity, give a warning or suspend use for a set period or permanently. To stop restrictions from being dodged, a restriction may apply to the devices the account used as well as to the account.
  2. Blocks, reports, mutes and the like from other players build up as “bugs” on the player's unit. When 30 unfixed bugs pile up, an automatic 24-hour “forced bug patch” applies and the player cannot connect.
  3. The Operator tells the player the reason for and length of a restriction in the game. Players can object through in-game support; the Operator reviews the objection and reports back.
  4. Repeatedly abusing store refunds may lead to a restriction once a set number is reached.

Article 14 (Deleting your account)

  1. Players can end the agreement at any time by deleting their account under Settings → Delete account in the game. If the app can't be used, deletion can be requested by email.
  2. The account is deleted immediately and this cannot be undone. All free currencies, unused coins, progress and the decorated outpost are lost. If you want a refund of unused coins, follow Article 9 before deleting.
  3. What is kept after deletion, and for how long, follows “Deleting your account and data” in the Privacy Policy.

Article 15 (Intellectual property and your content)

  1. Rights in the programs, graphics, sounds and text included in the Service belong to the Operator or the rightful owners. External fonts and the like follow their own licenses (for example, the Galmuri11 font — SIL Open Font License 1.1).
  2. Rights in the player names, outpost names, tags, chat, quiz questions and the like that players create in the Service (“content”) belong to the players. Players allow the Operator to store and display content as needed to run the Service and show it to other players.
  3. The Operator may hide or remove content that breaks the law or these Terms (for example, clearing an inappropriate name so it has to be chosen again).
  4. Players may share gameplay screens and videos for personal, non-commercial purposes, taking care not to reveal other players' personal information or voices.

Article 16 (Third-party components)

The game includes software made by third parties — such as the game engine, the Epic Online Services SDK and Microsoft audio components — provided under their own licenses. These third parties give players no warranty for those components and, to the extent the law allows, are not liable for damage caused by them. Players may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble these components except where the law permits it.

Article 17 (Limitation of liability)

  1. Unless at fault, the Operator is not responsible for losses caused by things outside its control, such as natural disasters, outages of third-party services including the stores, network providers and Epic Online Services, or problems with a player's device or connection.
  2. The Operator has no duty to step into disputes between players inside or outside the Service, but acts on reports under these Terms.
  3. This Article applies only as far as the law allows and does not limit players' statutory rights as consumers. The Operator compensates losses caused by its intent or gross negligence.

Article 18 (Content rating and age)

The game content is made to a 12+ standard. Enemies and players are all robots; broken robots scatter only parts and sparks, and there are no human-shaped enemies or gore. Separately from this rating, accounts can only be created by people aged 14 or older (Article 4).

Article 19 (Notices)

The Operator notifies players through in-game notices and screens, the email registered to the account (the Google or Apple account's email, which may be an Apple “Hide My Email” address), or the website, as appropriate. Notices to many players at once may be given by in-game notice or website posting instead.

Article 20 (Governing law and disputes)

  1. These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. If a dispute arises from using the Service, the Operator and the player first try in good faith to settle it. If that fails, the player may apply for mediation to bodies such as the Korean Content Dispute Resolution Committee.
  3. Lawsuits are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

These Terms take effect on 2026-10-15.
